The game has an isometric view, which lets you get a good look at your surroundings. The art style is 2D and colorful, with a lot of detail. Even when you are constructing a building, you can see the different stages of construction as your workers add planks and stone.
Even when a building is abandoned, be it lack of resources or unused, it also has its own art, where it is visibly darkened and in ruins.
